Do you like to take photos? No matter whether you’re a novice or an expert, use your Smartphone’s built in camera or a DSLR, the Kawartha Camera Club (KCC) has something for you.
The Kawartha Camera Club was formed in 2012 to bring together photographers – new and experienced – to learn skills from each other in a hands-on approach in an enjoyable, social atmosphere.
And that’s exactly what they did in the summer of 2019 at Chandos Lake in collaboration with the CLPOA. Here are some of the highlights:
- Exhibited at the Chandos Lake Art Festival and participated in a presentation of the 1st Annual Chandos Lake Photo Contest top photos – fitting because the KCC were participants on the panel of Photo Contest judges.
- Conducted a FREE Photography Tutorial on “Composition in Photography” that gave participants an opportunity to learn how to take a great photo, as well as challenge them to get the most out of their camera – whether they used a phone or traditional camera.
