The Regatta has been a summer time celebration on Chandos Lake for more than 50 years! It’s a fun-filled event for everyone – of all ages – that includes:
- Running & Sack Races
- Swimming Races
- Canoe Races (1, 2 & 5 person)
- Tube Races (2 person – Mixed)
- Casting competition
- A Mystery Event!
- Horseshoe Tournament
- Face Painting & Fish Pond
- Oldest & Youngest Participant contest
- Bake Sale
- BBQ
- Prizes for the events & submissions of photography & drawings
- Recycled Craft contest – This year’s theme is “Things That Fly”.
Location: Lakeview Cottages & Marina – 176 Lakeview Crescent, Chandos Lake
Date: Sat. August 3, 2024 (Rain date: Sun. Aug. 4)
Time: Registration opens at 12 noon. Races start at 1 pm (beginning with land races).
Release Form
All activity participants must register and sign a Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement.
A responsible Adult must accompany minors (maximum of 5 minors per responsible Adult) to the Registration desk to complete and sign a Release of Liability and Waiver of Claims Agreement and have identifying numbers put on the participants.
