CLPOA Regatta 2025
The Regatta has been a summer time celebration on Chandos Lake for more than 50 years!
It’s a fun-filled event for everyone – of all ages.
Date: Saturday, August 2, 2025 (Rain Date: Sunday, August 3)
Location: Lakeview Cottages & Marina, 176 Lakeview Crescent, Apsley (Accessible by car or boat)
Registration: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Land Races Begin: 12:30 PM
How to Participate
All participants must sign a waiver at the event.
Check in at the registration table upon arrival. Wristbands will be provided at on-site registration and are required for all events.
Land Events
Running Races (by age & gender)
Ages 2–3, 4–5, 6–7, 8–9
Sack Races (by age & gender)
Ages 8–10, 11–14, 15–22, 23+
5-Person Relay Race
Teams of any age
Water Events
Swimming Races (by age & gender)
– 6 & under: lifejackets required
– 7–9, 10–11, 12–14: non-swimmers must wear lifejackets
– 15–17, 18–40, 40+
2-Person Mixed Tube Races (ages 8–13, 14+)
Bring your own tube, lifejackets required
Canoe Races
– Mixed 2-Person: Ages 8–12, 13–17, 18+
– 5-Person Canoe Race
Bring your own canoe, lifejackets required

Horseshoe Tournament
Register at the registration table
Recycled Craft Contest: Wearable Accessories
Create a fun, wearable item using only recycled materials.
Judging based on creativity, material use, wearability, appearance, and effort.
